Hi, Is anymore growing ficus triangularis in southern california? or anywhere else? I've been looking for one for awhile and finally found one but I haven't bought it yet. Is this a easy plant to grow or is it finicky? Is it a slow grower? Invasive roots? Any info would be appreciated. Whats a good price to pay for a 5 footer?

I bought a variegated one, but it did not like my conditions here. I bought a similar species (Ficus deltoidea) at the same time, and it looked (and grew) better here.

That is a nice ficus too. I'll have to check that one out also. I'm looking for the normal green ficus triangularis. The one I found is a little pricey and I dont want to buy it if its gonna die on me.

This appears to possibly be a synonym for Ficus natalensis, anyone know for sure? If so, it should be one of the easiest figs to grow in a mild dryish location like coastal California away from excessive frost.  If it is natalensis, it should have similar growth habits to the Aussie figs like macrophylla, rubiginosa etc, so assume the worst possible root damage will occur, and site it accordingly. Better safe than sorry.
