Bet that got your attention, didn't itB)

As things continue to adjust to life here in the desert, i thought it was interesting that one of my  Queen's Wreath decided to hang on to what flowers it had tried to push while on the truck. For awhile, it looked like id loose all flowers simply because this plant went directly into blazing sun thus burning off many of the buds. To my surprise, it shrugged off the sun and even pushed several more flowers.

While many of us know how spectacular this vine looks when in full bloom, i can't say i have seen many up-close pictures of the flowers. Seeing the opportunity, i thought it would be neat to share a few. As beautiful as she is from afar, up close, this Queen of the Vines just gets prettier. Enjoy:)

:greenthumb:  If you have room for some Vines in the garden, give this one some thought. The original specimen this cutting came off of did fine up in San Jose so i doubt you'd have any issues. Likes heat so it would probably do better there, even if it drops most leaves during the coldest part of winter. Can also be trained into a free standing specimen.

I have lots of fence line to comer at the vista garden. This would be a great edition especially with those amazing flowers.
