I don't think this is that rare of a tree. We have three of them. The foliage is very colorful with copper/gold and purple in them, more so at certain times of the year. It was damaged during Art Basel and at that point, I didn't see a tag... strange. If you know what it is, I would be much obliged to know as well! Thanks much.

Something in Phyllanthaceae (formerly Euphorbiaceae) such as Phyllanthus, Breynia, or Glochidion. There are many species in this group, and I don't have time to query them now; sorry... But hopefully this helps enough to get you in the right direction.

SoCal and SoFla; zone varies by location.
