I think it is Heliconia rostrata.

I'd agree, Heliconia rostrata. It has a few more flowers than what mine usually get. Like a number of Heliconias, a fairly invasive plant unfortunately.

You can get many Heliconia varieties in Sri Lanka, I learnt that some of them can become huge and need a big space. 

'Sexy Pink' is one of the common but beautiful Heliconia.
