First up is some species of Vanda... Any guesses?

This may be the same species as the yellow flowered one, above. I don't know though--it's attached to a large Dypsis decaryi.

This one bloomed a couple weeks back--was purplish pink. I think it's related to Vanda, or a Vanda hybrid..?

Andrew, the first is a Vanda Ascocenda hybrid,the second and third look to be Oncidiums,the last is Vanda Miss Joaquim also a hybrid.It is the national flower of Singapore.The only country to have a hybrid flower as its national flower

Hong Kong also has a hybrid national flower, Bauhinia × blakeana.

But is Hong Kong an independent country? I thought it was just a territory of China?

As with Hong Kong, there is some debate, but if it had its own way, it would be its own Country...
