I'll kick it off... Almost walked past this without taking a photo, but had to backtrack and capture the moment. There must be a dozen flowers on this hibiscus this morning.

The fun thing about a thread like this -- no matter where you garden, you have something to contribute. :) The challenge is, late July into August can be a little sparse for finding flowers. But serious gardeners have planned ahead for that.

Pete -- I love the ethereal beauty of that magnolia flower -- fine connection with your daughter Shakira.

Palmcrazy -- how did I know you would have some HOT colors to contribute? :)

tbearz -- love your photo compositions and the delicate flowers -- wow!

Monóver -- I want to paint my house that soft yellow/mango color! It really sets off your plants. That giant Spathiphyllum photo could be a Georgia O'Keefe painting.

Redbeard -- Thanks for including your resident butterfly! Plants that attract butterflies tend to bloom for an extended period, increasing our ability to appreciate our gardens. Wonderful photos with those luscious warm colors.

Gene -- your photos are unfailingly exotic -- we can only drop our jaws in awe!

Loxahatchee Adam -- you must have a HUGE garden to contain all this beauty. I am just now beginning to really appreciate trees other than palms. It's a whole new encyclopedia for me, and I see you are way ahead in that game. Nice! I am quite partial to the Stephanotis floribunda and its heady scent.

Just a few more pix from my garden, and I will keep an eye out for more. Add your flowers, everyone, please continue!

These were my 4th of July fireworks in the garden:
