I know, the "foliage" of Medinilla sp are all "very similar" ( of course, they are a Medinilla :) )

Anyway, I bought this last year and this is its 1st time flowering and glad to see its flowers are "White" as I thought it maybe a magnifica being sold under a different name :)

Its planted in deep free draining soil in the buttress roots of a Red cadar I planted near 30 yrs ago.

Anyone else growing this "dwarf" Medinilla and can post some pics ?

I believe that may be Medinilla cummingii. M. myrantha has larger leaves and the flowers are darker. Medinilla's have become one of my favorite plant. Here in South Florida the Medinilla's usually get nematodes when you plant them in the ground. Good Growing.

Your "right" Ellis, thanks for the heads up, and glad you are as I "Like" the white flowers, and its not really "in the ground as its a "raised bed" in the buttress .

Added pic below to show Cummingi, I'd never heard of it till "now" :)
