Aloha, besides my extensive palm collection, I have some Yucca seedlings about a year old that are doing very well. I'm thinking of planting three in my yard.

Any advice at all about any aspect of planting a seeding? I'm installing a dripper system near each plant, but...

- watering schedule?

- ideal soil composition?

- fertilizer? Is 3-1-2 the right balance?

- anything else?

I'm going to plant Joshua Trees. Reminder, it's hot, dry, sunny, sometimes windy where I live. They'll sit in full sun (they're in full sun right now, getting showered several times a day).

Thanks... Christopher

Christopher...not much experience with Y Brevifolia or Hawaii, but I hear they're hard to grow out of their own environment. I would be mostly concerned with too much fert...succulents generally don't like too much N.

Good luck...try Yucca Rostrata !!

If global warming means I can grow Cocos Nucifera, then bring it on....
