I might as well put these out here again and see if anyone has any leads. If you have some and would like to sell them, or have any idea where there are some, i and a couple of other collectors would greatly appreciate the info. Wish list is as follows...

Pinanga curranii

Pinanga maculata

Pinanga malaiana

Pinanga caesia

Pinanga caesia 'red'

Areca catechu var alba

Neovitchia storkii

Dypsis prestoniana

Hydriastele flabellata

If you can help that would be great, if not, thanks for reading

Haha. Whoa there buddy. Isn't this the palm fanatics board? Haha

You're right though. Underplantings are the key for contrast and colour. Im in the process now of planting good palm companions such as cordylines, crotons, heliconias, zingibers etc. now that some slight canopy is starting to form. But it never hurts to have some bright palms in there.

Seeing as you brought crotons up, what one or two species would you recommend that are show stoppers. Im in the sub tropics and cold isnt really an issue.
