Washingtonia filifera seedlings/seeds

Featured Replies

Hello all;) I'm looking for W. filifera seeds/seedlings/young plants...I understand that these are seen as weeds in many places, so if anyone has any they'd be willing to part with, I'd be happy to take them off your hands...I'll pay shipping, and if you want money for them, I can do that too...thanks!!

jfrye,

I was in Palm Springs last week hiking in the Washingtonia filifera forest and was hoping to pick up some fresh seeds, but there were none at all. The trees were just starting to send out inflorescence, so in a few months, I plan to go back. I'll get some for you if you can wait.

Seeds won't be mature till September / October...
