Ficus sp wanted! Any / All

Recommended Posts

Posted

A customer came to my plant house yesterday, and he happened to fall in love with my Ficus plants. Unfortunately having only one of each, he was not able to purchase those. I, however, told him I would try to track down some more for him.

I'd like to know if anybody can help me get young plants of any Ficus - weedy, or not. Any species. Including the Banyans, Stranglers, Tree types, etc.

Thanks!

Thats a big request.

There are hundreds if not thousands ficus.

All I grow is f. Dammaropsis, f. Roxburghii, f. elastica.

I may have extras in summer.

I used to grow lord howe island banyan I got from Ben in New Zealand but I gave it away once I saw how fast it grows.

Axel in Santa Cruz now has it taking over his property.

This species is not a species for a greenhouse, mine is growing like crazy and slowly taking over a large portion of the garden. It's the most likely to make aerial roots.

Jeff - that's great! Please keep me in mind if you do end up with extras.

Yes, it's a big request - but I like them.

Axel - If you have seedlings, or rooted cuttings, let me know.

Jude, I can send you cuttings, they root extremely easily.
