Cordylines

Featured Replies

I have added some cordylines recently to the place, thought I'd go around and take some pics. Perhaps some Cordy folks could provide/confirm some of the names, I rarely worry about remembering cordyline names, just grab the ones I like/want.

Please everyone show yours here too, it's been a while since we had a cordyline thread open.

These are my most recent plantings. Profile and tops.

Good question, I'm not certain, could be they don't like too much sun. Next door have pruned a lot of their trees, or I'm simply not singing to them enough.

Wal, The plant you are calling W. Gold is also what we call W. Gold here in FL. I will not hazard a name guess on the others. Most Ti names here in FL will vary from the names in your part of the world. I will try to get a few photos for this post this afternoon.

I had 18 hyophobe indicas that were in 15 gal. bags that didn't sell and had grown into the ground so riped out some left those piled rocks around and then mulch and put in miniature ti's.

Ti's are one of my fav. for adding color to my garden.

Bill, your Ti's are beautiful. I see you have them planted in full sun, which is something I can't do in Tampa.

Scott, I love your graveyard red Ti!!!

Here are a few of my Ti plants. I don't know their names.

Xerox, Aunti Lou, Willies Gold, and Mrs Andrea. Your Ti are looking good Karen! My Willies Gold has very little pink, I think it gets to much sun.

Bill, Great usage of Ti for landscape color. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the names Scott!

Thanks for the names Scott!

Typo! Should be Miss Andrea. Jeff Searle named that one after his wife.
