I think that might be a rangoon creeper, they smell really good, my sister bought a bunch of them and planted them in our house.

Saw this at the Houston Zoo last week...they smell amazing!

They are actually extremely tough. Many years they die back to the ground in hard winters, but always come back unless the ground itself freezes several inches deep. I once built a small fire on top of one, and a few months later, back it came.
