I was hoping to grow a recently rooted White Shaving Brush tree long term in Tampa. What are the minimum temps this plant can tolerate? Can it grow in partial shade?

Thanks in advance,

Ray

Ray, younger trees tolerate brief dips into the upper 20sF. Older trees are a few degrees hardier. I would say they are more tender than a Jacaranda but slightly hardier than a Royal Poinciana. They can tolerate partial shade.

Ray--

There are several nice pink-flowered trees (30'+) in Largo, so I don't think you'll have any trouble.
