Faith has always been a 'plant' person. She became interested in palms in the late 70's and a confirmed “addict” in the mid 80's. She has lived most of her life in South Florida, spending lots of time at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden. Faith has been growing palms from seed since with her successes and failures being the basis of her palm knowledge.

Leilani Estates, 25 mls/40 km south of Hilo, Big Island of Hawai'i. Elevation 880 ft/270 m. Average rainfall 140 inches/3550 mm

    Some of the best palms in my garden have come from Faith. I remember the first time I met her; it was at a the fall palm sale at FTBG and we hit it off right away. Faith has been around the world in the name of palms and fun and is such an engaging person. I always look forward to seeing Faith and visiting with her when she is in my neck of the woods, which is usually brief!
