This is the first of the ones I started from seed to flush new leaves while I was on our farm to see them.

I have 3 small ones and one larger one including one in a prime location near the house since it's a favorite. When in the future I'm less physically mobile, at least I can sit on the porch and see one.

The one in this photo was deliberately planted in a location a bit hard to get to. I know I'll make the effort if I have a "destination plant" that I always enjoy such as a favorite palm or orchid. Then I plant more things along the way and eventually make a path of sorts along the easiest route. We all know that new paths invite more plants tucked in here and there.

This one is in shade and the leaves never wilt. The larger one in sun wilts a bit in mid day. I'm hoping the ones in partial shade to shade will keep the red color longer without sacrificing brightness. I wasn't there long enough to compare this time.

I love Browneopsis & your's is beautiful. I've tried a few & they don't like it here. Thanks for the pic.

Lovely!

I find them to be very tough and quite fast growing compared to the other 'handkerchief' trees... Lovely!!!
