Agave blue glow are showing signs of rot on some of the center leaves. ( I took the cover off and it rain / freeze a few times last month).

I carefully cut all the damage leaves out but was wondering if I should treat it with anything. I don't expect any big freezes this month but still lots of rain.

Should they be treated or is a rain cover just ok?

Thanks Hammer I'll give that a try. Found a big bottle I bought like three years ago, Cool!

This week its light rain all day, humidity 98%, low 50's at night. Will keep them covered till the end of March.

Thanks!

Looks like the agave blue glow is going to make it after all. April is when they start growing again here.

My little desert in the rainy humid PNW…

There are several mature Wodyetia bifurcata in my neighborhood--that helps determine my zone, right?

Joe, mine has been in the ground two years and when I bought it locally it was three plants in a one gallon container for 10 bucks. Scored!

I separated them this March, but someday I may have to move them if they get to big for the spot. No bigly wiggly.
