I have a bunch of year old seedlings in Brisbane, and they have been hard to give away. Most survived this winter outdoors since I got tired of bringing them in, but they are looking quite bad.

Do you have any friends with an enclosed greenhouse? Do the Sydney botanic gardens have an indoor space?

Your picture reminds me of growing an Adonidia in my window back in Canada. It can see freedom but never truly taste it.
