Just got back from the welcoming dinner at Nong Nooch

Welcomed with elephants, amazing palms, Thai traditional dancing as we went into dinner.

During the evening about 50 entertainers and dancers captivated us for the evening. We are all amazed at the palms surrounding our accommodation and we have not even seen the gardens yet!!!h

From bus 7 we saw one of the buses ran over a traffic cone on the way to Pattaya. The traffic and both buses had to be stopped by police escort while construction crews got under the bus to retrieve the cone. Was this video bus 6?

Ohhh boy!!! It's already begun.........

Just arrived home today in the afternoon, ( tuesday). What a hell of a great time! So many pictures, soo many palms and soooo many stories! It was especially nice to finally meet some of the palm talkers there.

Well I was sort of in & out of snoozing. I remember I heard the dancing hooplah. In half slumber I thought that the IPS crew might have been planning a "performance" of some sort for when we arrived at Nong Nooch and that our bus had been tasked with the dancing aspect. So I thought you guys were rehearsing & I figured I would just figure it all out when I woke up. :innocent:

No.2 bus was something special, I was glad to be on it and not under it. Seriously though it was most cool to be able to speak with folks finally, face to face, people I've only ever communicated with via palmtalk. We crossed the oceans and forged friendships that already existed by written word only I suppose, but now that we have met, I never want to see any of you again... No, no, I mean, I want to see you all again sometime down the track. I was my usual shy self of course, lucky others brought me out of my shell, my life as a tortoise is now over.

I moved around to different seats, once I was down the back seat with Rafael and Carlo discussing forming an IPS musical group, Carlo suggested the name be SPI. He was sacked immediately but eventually he will be allowed to stay on as the drummer. I spent time towards the front of the bus with dudes like Bob and Paul and Jes and Elvis Presley, thanks King for coming along for the ride, Viva Las Pattaya baby.. It was great to meet the Californians, the Floridians, the Hawaiians, the Presbyterians, who have I left out ?

Here was our bus guide Sam, giving another talk on all things Thai. Funny guy, I liked him.

It was kind of magic to meet everybody from palmtalk.

We had lots of fun, chating, laughing, smiling, singing and sleeping :asleep: inside this amazing bus!

I hope the IPS musical group idea is to make real!
