I'm making a trip to the Pacific NW this week and will be seeing a couple of friends-- one a plant person, the other not so much. Would small sagos be something easy and unusual to take up from CA? Or are they pretty common now?

Been awhile since I've been up there (1980s). At that time, large jade plants (Crassula) and Yucca gloriosa/elephantipes were the rage (indoor/outdoor), but I don't know now.

They are a dime a dozen in the nursery now and have been for a long time....but coming from a friend thats special.... I'd say go for it.

BTW if you like to stop in Olympia, I'd be glad to show you my place.

Thanks for the heads up. Got a couple of other options I can go with.

I'll actually be working in Olympia for a week or two. I'll send you a PM when I get into town.

Cool Ken,

If you have room I can give you a few plants to take home if you like them. I'm free most days. PM is good idea.

Roger.
