One day of 29 FF, 25% leaf damage.

After two days, no worse, at least.

Dave - Frost or not frost?

Sorry as a Floridian to keep asking this question....but it makes a big difference down here as to where we should plant something.

I have a small potted D. madagascariensis (maybe 3.5 ft high) that I left outside all winter.  I did not see any damage at 34F.

I have one in the ground for its second winter. I put much around its growing point and leave the fronds exposed. I have seen some browing to the leaves at 32 with no frost and after the 2nd night with frost they look the same. No worse

With a tin cup for a chalice

Fill it up with good red wine,

And I'm-a chewin' on a honeysuckle vine.
