Can you identify a tree by the seed pod and seedling leaf?

I had collected some seed pods in south Florida - only found two seed pods - they were green, oval, about the size of a large Chocolate fruit, if you know what a chocolate pod is. Roughly 6 inches long, 4 inches in the middle, tapering to a smooth edge on both ends.

They were on the ground. They split into 3 or 4 sections a couple of days later (They were obviously freshly fallen) - Inside was creamy in color, not gooey. There were about 10 marble sized seeds that looked like those of Moringa (with the white flesh attached) - Those seeds were obviously recalcitrant, so I planted them right away - within days, I had shoots. The leaves look like a Bombax, or Ceiba, or something similar.

If those seed pods ring a bell, I'd love to know what they are.

I think you nailed it! Unless if there's something that looks just like it!
