This is one of the coolest Podocarpus macrophyllus specimens I have come across. An old tree form that has never been pruned, branches all the way to the ground

Wow, I haven't seen one like that even at any arboretum (where one sometimes finds unraised trees, esp. in "the back forty"). Nice catch.

SoCal and SoFla; zone varies by location.

There are some taller around Orlando but I have never seen one like that with limbs to the ground.
