South Florida Palm Society:

There will be a general meeting Monday evening, August 2nd, 7:30 pm at

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

Mr. Elvis Cruz will give a presentation and slideshow titled "Two Tickets

to Paradise: A Visit to the Seychelles Islands"

Elvis, who is a fellow palm society member, will impart information about

the palms of the Seychelles, including information on Coco de Mer, Lodoicea

maldivica. Elvis will raffle some souvenirs from his trip. Also, the first 20

members to arrive at the door will receive free money.

The program will be followed by an auction of palms.

Light refreshments will be served.

Come early with questions about your palms for the answer desk.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is located at 10901 Old Cutler Rd.

Coral Gables, FL.
