The Palm and Cycad Society of Australia – Brisbane Group is at it again...

Displays of popular and rare palms and cycads, on-hand cultivation experts, book and magazine sales, free cultivation hand outs. A sales area with EFTPOS will be available.

When:

Saturday, 13 March: 9am - 4pm

Sunday, 14 March: 9am - 3pm

Where: Mt Cootha botanical gardens auditorium

That's a negatory for me. All my shirts are ruined with permanent stains due to over wear in the garden.

Hi Ari, we all had a good day. The crowd was down on previous years, but still pretty good. The boys all picked up a few specials too...

Here is Wal, trying to focus on the computer screen...had to get his Palmtalk fix whilst at the show!

Took home a very small booty this year, stuck to my $50 limit.

Pritchardia thurstoni (seedling)

and unbelievably I bought two Veitchia seedlings that grew from seeds from my own palms in the old place, and I had to pay for them, winnin and joannis younguns have returned to their daddy, now there's a story if I can grow these to maturity. :D

oh that photo is not me by the way, that's not my skin colour, besides I was wearing a hat.
