SFPS Meeting - Monday Feb 1, 7:30 pm at Fairchild Tropical Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road.

We will have a general meeting Monday evening, February 1, 7:30 pm at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden, which is located at 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, FL.

Michael Ferraro, a well-known expert in tropical flora and former curator at Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Thailand, the host venue for the International Palm Society's 1998 Biennial Meeting. He is in the midst of a visit to South Florida and recently spoke to the Flowering Tree Society about " Flowering Plants of Venezuela." Michael has graciously consented to present a program titled “Palms of Venezuela, Trinidad and Grenada.”

The talk will be followed by a palm auction. Please bring your palms to the auction and make it a memorable evening. Light food and refreshments will be served. Come early with questions about your palms for the answer desk.

DO NOT MISS THIS SPECIAL MEETING!
