This is definitely one of my favorite palms as well and I would love to have a few in my yard. I have heard that the higher the elevation these are found at in Jamaica, the more recoiled the leaves are. It is a very beautiful palm. Let me know if you find some.

I was awestruck by this palm at Fairchild. I'd never heard of it.

Steve Stern is the only guy I know that had some. All gone now though. I heard that Fairchild will not take the time to isolate the flowers so when it seeds and people grow them up, they find out they were crossed with normal Parviflora or something else.

be careful in Jamaica--lots of murder goin on over there... I'd rather take the chance of growing out all of the seeds to see maybe one or two that are pure... if you can get them all! sorry I can't help :hmm:
