Does anyone grow these in Florida and know what light levels work best for them? Or do they do equally well in sun and shade?

Thanks!

Mine has been growing in filtered light (under a C.I. date) for about 7 or 8 yrs. These are very slow, this one has a 5 to 6 ft spread if that, the stem has stayed below ground as well so you have to go very easy on watering or the new leaves will rot some. One of the many "plant then ignore" cycads for here.

Here in Sydney they grow in sun or shade. They are not fussy at all.
