No expert, but the 2nd one with the red veins will most likely be pink or red...The first one with the green veins will most likely be yellow/white.

USDA Zone 10a/10b

Sunset Zone 24

My pink one from Daryl has green veins though...

BTW, Wal... are you digging all the frangipani up?

Regards, Ari :)

Hi Ari, I'm taking cuttings of the bigger inground ones because the new owners like frangies. I already have a few specials in pots anyway and the house we're buying has one of those singapore whites with the shiny dark green leaves like you see around the Darwin streets. At least I think that's what it is called.

There is no way to predict at all. I have over 150 plants and there is no system at all. you get what you get.

With a tin cup for a chalice

Fill it up with good red wine,

And I'm-a chewin' on a honeysuckle vine.

Singapore evergreen?? Once you are not moving anymore, I get you one of those blue ones.... BTW, I thought the new owner is a developer?? Don't forget to take the 'special darwin' one with you!!!

Joe is more then likely correct on these particular leaf veins but then again its REALLY hard to tell from the leaves. A few cultivars have pretty

distinct colors and patterns that make them easy to pick out (like celedine and their seedlings and darker reds) but these are tough to tell - sorry...

Ari,

Tell me more about "those blue ones." :)

Kona, on The Big Island
Hawaii - Land of Volcanoes

It was flowering the other day.. I will check whether it is still flowering. I love blue flowering trees, Dean... even though what they call 'blue' can be relative...

Blue? Never seen blue... That would be amazing. The purples unfortunately don't turn very purple here in coastal socal...not enough heat.
