I have a Screwpine that has grown large over the last few years and I have grown fond of the appearance of the plant. I made a mistake and planted it at the very back of my property. I now want to have one growing in a more prominent location. My question is can it be rooted from a limb cutting?

Any size limb can be rooted, from big heavy limbs to small shoots that appear on the trunks.

One of the problems I found out with Pandanus is , if you plant it too close to your house it tries to break tru the windows...it grows and grows....to get rid of it afterwards is a real job.

Thanks for the replies. I will be rooting a limb soon.

Can you dig one up and transplant it easily? I want one and have a friend who has one I can have - if I can dig it up!

Yes, super easy to transplant. I really don't think you can kill them. Other than cold weather, they are tough as nails. I've had some screw pine sit on mulch piles for months and still root.
