Solid white!!. That is too cool. I have the red, but would love a seed or anything from this one.

Yes, I have a few E. amazonica but haven't bloomed for me yet.

Nice! Did you grow from seed or buy as a plant? Have a source?

Keep an eye out for borers, or it will go bye-bye quickly...

First blooms on this Erythrina 'Blakei' I got earlier in the year.  I plan to remove my Erythrina 'Camdeni' to make more room in my garden.

From online articles:

The two different cultivars resulted from two separate crossings of Erythrina herbacea L. (female) with Erythrina crista-galli L. (male):

Erythrina × bidwillii Lindl. 'Camdeni' (tree)
Erythrina × bidwillii Lindl. 'Blakei' (shrub)
Although the flowers of both cultivars are similar, the form of the plants is different — one is a small tree, while the other is a shrub.

Erythrina × bidwillii 'Camdeni' tends to follow its Erythrina crista-galli parent in forming a small tree, while Erythrina × bidwillii 'Blakei' follows the Erythrina herbacea parent in being a low-growing shrub, dying back to a rootstock each year.

This year one Anna's hummingbird has decided to tap the nectar in these flowers. Last year none of them did. Once I planted it out, this has been a very floriferous hybrid for me in my NorCal garden.

From Wikipedia: "Erythrina × bidwillii 'Blakei' follows the Erythrina herbacea parent in being a low-growing shrub, dying back to a rootstock each year."
