En la selva peruana observe lo que a primera vista podria ser palmera trepadora, muchas no tenian contacto con el suelo y se nutrian del tronco del arbol de manera saprofita. ES REALMENTE PALMERA?

Hola amigos,

Gracias Carlo por su voto de confianza en mis conocimientos botanicos. Sin embargo, la Botanica es tan amplia que mientras mas se estudia, mas se da uno cuenta que no sabe nada.

Creo que la foto de Peru no enseña otra Asplundia, tal vez la A. rigida.

Asplundias ls hay de todos los tamaños, de hasta 2 metros de alto,otras pequeñitas. A primer vista se van como palmeras, como todas las Cyclantaceas.

Ahora bien,si hay palmeras trepadoras en los bosques tropicales, y he buscado aqui en Costa Rica, pero todavia no las he encontrado.Ustedes seran los primeros en ver las fotos si las encuentro.
