Kisambo. I think it is safe to say it's a female because these cones are HUGE! Stevo 1 Urban Rainforest Palms,Cycads and Exotics. Were in San Diego Ca. about 5 miles from the beach on Tecolote canyon. It seems to be an ideal growing climate with moderate temps. and very little frost. On some of the leaves you can see how they are still turning blue from the bottom up towards the tips. I was standing on a stepladder to get more of an inside shot but I could not get the entire plant due to it's 8'+ width.
