¿...recuerdas como estaba el suelo? ¿estaba anegado, era arcilloso? ¿como lo describirías?.

Perdón por tanta pregunta, pero esta especie me parece muy interesante y dificíl de establecer fuera de los trópicos, me imagino que la necesidad de tenerla con agua cálida todo el año hace imposible sacarla de estas latitudes. Es una reflexión que hago en voz alta...

¿alguien sabe algo de esta especie fuera de su habitat, en cultivo...?

Muy buenas fotos.

Recuerdo ver muchas hace un año en Costa Rica, en los jardines del instituto de agronomía CATIE. Algunas fructifican desde hace años y han sido empleadas como madres para plantar más y más.

Aquí han muerto todas las que se probaron. Conservo la esperanza, hay moriches también a más de 1.000 m de altitud, en la Gran Sabana, donde las noches son frescas. ...Y también volvería a probar con más y mejor agua.
