My Mom bought this Wisteria vine/tree last fall, and when the cold came, all the leaves fell off, didn't bother to think that it might be deciduous, naturally just thought it was a goner, but much to my surprise, without making hardly a leaf, it shot outall these flowers, Ed

It looks like you've got that in a manageable spot, but Chinese wisteria (Japanese is very similar) is very aggressive can get out of control. It can spread underground and pop up on the other side of your boundary. You've got a little bit of that loamier sand around Oak Hill, so I'm sure it will grow like crazy. It is beautiful when trained over a trellis or a lot of folks in the Deep South train it into a tree form, but I wouldn't turn my back on it for too long.
