This is an invitation from Pavel Havlicek, Karel's son:

Remembering Karel J. Havlicek

1944-2008

It is with deepest regret we announce the passing of our father, uncle and dear friend Karel Havlicek, who passed away quietly of a heart failure on the 22nd day of March 2008 at the age of 64.

We invite you to join us at an informal commemoration of his life on

Saturday, April 26th at 12.00 o’clock

At 1396 Kalote Place, Hilo HI

Refreshments will be offered. Bring only yourself, your stories and anecdotes, as there will be opportunity to speak.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary on Karel’s behalf. This is a local charity close to Karel’s heart where he contributed both his time and resources in effort to support animals who would otherwise be euthanized.

Please RSVP at your soonest convenience to pavhav@gmail.com or 808-959 9301

Leilani Estates, 25 mls/40 km south of Hilo, Big Island of Hawai'i. Elevation 880 ft/270 m. Average rainfall 140 inches/3550 mm
