I planted this out as a 6" plant in 2005.  It is located 5 feet from a southeast facing fence, under a shade cloth.  I threw a tarp over the shade cloth before this event. Minor leaf damage.

I had a 8" seedling literally touching a 18" C metallica, both under the leaf of a Chambeyronia the night of the 27F frostless freeze.  The C metallica is actually dead, the Chambeyronia has only a little bit of living spike, but this plant was completely untouched.
