Garden Expert Anish Nellickal in Ponnani | Malappuram | Kerala | India

Green Living from Coastal Kerala | Ponnani, Malappuram, India Body: Greetings from Ponnani, a coastal gem in Malappuram district, nestled in the heart of Kerala, India — a region blessed with lush greenery, rich biodiversity, and deep-rooted traditions in plant-based living. I’m Anish Nellickal, based near the Arabian Sea coast, where palms sway year-round. My work connects with native flora, urban greening, ecological restoration, and botanical conservation. From Miyawaki forest models to traditional plant-based wellness practices, nature remains central to everything I do. The tropical conditions here in southwest India support a wide variety of palms and medicinal species. Local projects include butterfly gardens, rejuvenation of heritage trees, and awareness initiatives on zodiac/star plants. Most of this work happens at a nature-focused space near Nellickal, Ponnani, designed as an educational and living landscape. If you're ever near Malappuram or planning a visit to Kerala, I’d be happy to share experiences on native palms, edible landscapes, or restoration models suitable for coastal zones.

Warm regards,
