Palm Beach Palm and Cycad Society News

Featured Replies

The Palm Beach Palm and Cycad Society will be holding its annual picnic and huge auction at Ruth's beautiful palm garden in Lantana, Florida on September 4th. There has been a delay due to Ruth's recent accident but barring a hurricane, it will go on as planned. If you will be in SoFla that weekend, we hope to see you there. We will eat about 11:30 and begin the auction by 12:30 to try to beat the afternoon showers. The garden will be open at 9:30 so you can wander through the mature palms and exotics. Bring a covered dish and an auction plant or a few if you are able. It does not have to be a palm or cycad. If you need directions or more info let me know. Hope to see you there.

You just have to be a palm enthuiast to attend. Come and join us. I forgot to remind people to try to bring a chair to the picnic. Ruth's address is 6285 S. Military Trail,Lantana, Florida. It is just south of Lantana Road on the west side of the street. There should be a sign out. Just look for all the palms .
