On my way down to St Augustine. On US1, north of Northrup Grumman I spotted these Bizzies on the east side of the roadway. In the parking lot are some gorgeous Pindo palms, largest well over 30 feet tall

@SeanK Beautiful! Hard to say which I like best but being in the cold hardy group I'd probably choose the butia. I know some tropical folks may not understand but that's ok. 😉

That one in the photo may be the tallest Jelly Palm in the US.

Let's not get too excited.😁  There are much taller than these around, and photos of ones probably twice that height have been posted here.  I want to say I remember seeing ones taller than low rise apartments posted on Palmtalk I think they were in Charleston, SC.

I agree.  I remember seeing one about that size in Beaumont, TX probably 10 years ago.  I can imagine how big it is now.

I'll have to search. They're beautiful when they're tall like that.
