Andorra La Vella, Andorra 

Not sure what the hardiness zone is. But it was COLD. You can even see the snow covered mountains in the second picture with the palms in the corner.

Aux-les-Thermes, Occitania, France - 7b/8a.

The scenery here looks pretty identical to parts of Appalachian Pennsylvania imo.

Definitely on the edge. Those in-ground look far better than the potted one.

The southern side of the pyrenees in Catalunya stays significantly warmer than the northern edge in France. You can tell by how much typical Mediterranean/evergreen plants there are there, compared to areas north. 

But seeing any palms in Andorra was very surprising. Not really a place I would expect to see palms. That’s like finding palm trees in Vail Colorado!
