There are visual clues at this very early stage? 

The vast majority of palms sold as takil are sold incorrectly.  Maybe someone else can chime in on the validity of the 2 ridge vs 4 ridge fronds as a source of ID.  Personally I think its too early to tell.  I've only seen what I think are true takil once and they stood out from 50 feet away.
