Help, Kentia palm, Accidentally broke 2 cm of a new frond tip

I was wiping my plant and accidentally broke like 1 inch, about 2 cm, of newly born peak of the frond. It is the smallest peak, about 6,7 cm long. Since it is still, i would say, unformed, and haven't started to take final shape, it's still just a green homogenous spike, would it survive and how will impact the growth of the new frond. Other spikes are almost to open up, and are way bigger and you can see the future unopened but formed leaves. If i had broken that one, i would know that it will affect the frond pretty much, but since this is still just a green biomass, are there any chances that Kentia will recover since it ain't that big wound. I read here that people often have the same problems, with birds snapping the tip off trying to land on a palm and had no big problems with that. I feel like i broke her a leg or a hand, very bad, since this is the first time such thing happens to me.

Any answers will be very appreciated, thanks in advance, please share your thoughts and experiences.

Regards, Bojan

This is not a problem for the palm. The new spear should continue to grow out ant the subsequent frond will be ok. This part of the new spear is usually discarded by the palm after the frond opens . Harry

Thanks a lot, your words heal. Let them be truth, i also heard before that it's not that rare event in plant lifecycle, specially outside.

Thank you again, Bojan.

I removed the dry part around the base almost completely, since i have a big problem with this particular palm, poured H peroxide in them, and saw lava of bubbles as never before, indicating that it was the hiding place for, still to discover what precise kind of little devils invaded her, since i have lost 5,6 about square meters big fronds in a month, which is more than alarming. I will make a separate question now about it since its been a mistery for months what the problem is.
