discovered this today, only today after checking how the exotic plants in the community garden are doing.
a kind of agave. unfortunately i couldn't take a better photo, it was pricked from all sides ... yes is no excuse

Agave victoriae - reginae  ..or A. nickelsiae  ..Can be a little tough to tell apart when young. 


Cacti photo bombing on the left could be a Cylindropuntia sp.

It was found on the compost 2 years ago by Sabine, she then put it on the balcony. The plant didn't like it there. She then simply took it out and planted it in the community garden and it was forgotten. Curious story

The agave now seems to be happy in this location
