Christmas / Pigmy Palm winter Greenhouse ideal humidity/temp

Recommended Posts

I have a 8x12 greenhouse that has 6 Pigmy Palms and 3 Christmas palms (8 ft tall). What is the ideal temp and humidity?

Right now I have the minimum temp set to 60 and it gets up to 70-90 in the day.

humidity is 80%-90% currently at night and 60%-70% during the day. Do I need a dehumidifier or can they tolerate humidity that high?

I have some led grow lights in addition to indirect sunlight as well as a couple fans that run 24/7.

What is ideal?

Thank you,

Likely the Pigmies are the most humidity living of the genus. The Adonidias like humidity to be sure. So long as the sunlight is indirect or reduced you should be fine. I don't think the artificial lighting is necessary unless you get less than 10 hours daily.
