My neighbor gave it to me, I guess the local nursery in town was giving them away because it's the end of season. No idea what kind of palm it is, it looks half like my Cali Fan Palm and half like my Mexican Fan Palm that's closer to pure robusta. Guessing it's a hybrid, I just want to make sure I site it properly so any good guesses are appreciated.

I would too, it's just an odd looking hybrid, especially at this age.

I'm in a dry desert zone 7b so I'll be protecting while young then

Yeah that's the thing, I'm moving to Roswell for a better job, so I'm hoping I can keep my palm habit up there.
