Happy Fourth!  Put this palm in as a 5 or so gallon in 2020.  I have 3 the other 2 are recovering from -6F.  This one I covered/heated during that event.  Glad I did!

Looks good. S.birmingham will develop trunk above ground so not as cold-hardy as S.minor.

Allen , my smallest Birmingham just put out an inflorescence this year for the first time . I took a picture a week or so ago of it . Strangely my largest Birmingham doesn't have any inflorescences this year but my middle sized one , which is the same age as the largest Birmingham , is loaded with inflorescences , and they are very tall . I'll add a picture of that middle sized one a little later .
