happypalms Posted September 18 Report Share Posted September 18 I have a few Joey palms and thought I should plant a few more in the ground my climate is not exactly perfect Joey conditions it can get dry I will persevere with the new plantings until there a bit more established all I know is there slow love water and humidity they do take temperatures as low as 2 degrees Celsius one has to take the chance and plant as early as possible they take years to grow in the subtropical climate iam planting these ones for the future generations so someone one day will appreciate them in there full glory 3 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Looks like you cornered the market of them, LOL. Hopefully yours do good in the ground! I would want to buy some from you! Not easy or cheap to come buy over here. Love the Kerridoxa as well, I have one large one in the ground and 5 more in 1 gal coming up. It must take a few years to acclimate as I decided to try one in an exposed location and it’s doing OK, but like yours, the one with a bit of cover is looking much nicer.
