jordantlewis3
Hello, I have received 3 bismarckia nobilis seeds a bit ago and within 2 weeks, I had 2 germinated seeds! The other seed still hasn’t germinated unfortunately. I planted my germinated seeds in 15 gal pots filled 3/4 way full of soil to allow room for the long tap root but I still have no signs of the first leaf/spear coming out. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for it to show after planting the germinated seed? Thank you so much! Jordan

Jordan Hi again, I've germinated bismarckia 8 months ago, they do a really deep root, and then they start to pop. As you can see in the photo they do a really deep root before poping, the photo of the one sprouting I took it 2 months after germination. So from germination, normally 1 to 2 months on sprouting. 1
jordantlewis3
Awesome, just the answer I was looking for. It has been about a month so maybe any day now. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see the little red tip sprout to show!

jordantlewis3
I filled a 15g pot with soil and just planted them in there so that I wouldn’t have to worry about repotting them. ☺️
