Filifera seeds

I got some on Esty this year from "AllSunshineGardening" that were cheap and had about 85% germination which is very good germination I think. I just checked and they still have some. $5.30 for 50+ of them. I got mine in Feb or March I think.

As to pure?? IDK how you'd get confirmation on that unless you knew the owner of a tree.

...pure filifera seeds...

Somewhat elusive to obtain. Many are hybrids that are sold on-line.

Check out: Theodore Payne Foundation's seed offering.  If any place will have legit pure filifera seed, it will be them.  Listed in their catalog atm.

Las Cruces/NMSU

Up to 15' taller now.

There are robusta and hybrids around. But this cluster, your odds are probably good.

I know this doesn't help you right now but I'll have Washingtonia filifera "Coachella" seedlings ready next spring. Seeds were collected from the Coachella preserve in California. As pure as you can get.

I'll make a post when they're ready.

Then the added cost of trucking and site prep for planting. There's a market for everything I suppose.
